A free Fawtara readiness review for Omani businesses

Every VAT-registered business in Oman is moving onto Fawtara, the Oman Tax Authority's national e-invoicing programme. The work is not one change. It is a chain: your invoice data has to be complete, your accounting system has to produce it in the right structure, and an Accredited Service Provider has to carry it onto the network on your behalf.

A readiness review is half an hour that tells you which links in that chain you already have, which you do not, and in what order to fix them.

What we look at

  • Your invoices as they are issued today. We take a handful of real ones and read them against the fields an e-invoice has to carry.
  • Your accounting or ERP system. What it can export, what it cannot, and whether that is a settings change or an integration.
  • Your customer and supplier records. Missing tax identifiers are the single most common reason a first batch of e-invoices fails.
  • Your service provider position. Whether you have an ASP in Oman, whether they are on the Oman Tax Authority's accredited list, and what connecting to them involves.

What you get

  1. A written summary of where you stand, in the order the work has to happen.
  2. The specific gaps in your invoice data, named field by field.
  3. An estimate of the lead time to being able to issue a compliant e-invoice.
The businesses that find this painful are not the ones with complicated invoices. They are the ones that started late.

Who it is for

Finance managers, financial controllers and owners of Omani businesses who know Fawtara is coming and want a straight answer about their own position rather than a general briefing about e-invoicing.

There is no charge and no obligation. If the answer is that you are already in good shape, that is a useful half hour too.
